Feeling a bit lost and confused? Want some extra practice? Ready for a challenge? Here are some helpful sites to solve all of these problems!
Homework Sites:
Mandarin III Videos - Created by your lovely Assistant Teacher, Cora Ceipek, this website has review videos from Mandarin II, as well as explanations of new Mandarin III grammar structures and handy activities to help you practice. Be sure to use this as you prepare for masteries through the year!
Slow Chinese - The 2015-2016 Mandarin V class will be using this website as class materials this year. Feel free to look at blog posts which we do not cover in class for extra practice! Links to the post we are currently working on will be available on the Mandarin V syllabus.

Dictionaries:
LINE Dict - Offers good translations with example sentences using the words.
MDBG - This dictionary has the option to type in Chinese if your keyboard doesn't have that capability.
CharacterPop - While not technically a dictionary, you can use this website to break down characters into their component parts, identify radicals, make up fun mnemonics, and learn new words with familiar characters. Great for studying!

Useful apps:
KTdict C-E - Great, easy to use dictionary for iPhone and iPad.
Pleco - Has a camera option for characters you don't recognize. Available for iPhone and Android
Anki - Smart flashcards for long term retention. I suggest getting the computer version (free!) and not the iPhone app (rather pricey).
