Flipped Mastery Expectations
Students are expected to complete Textbook 2, Chapters 1-5 during fall semester
Mandarin III grammar videos available here.
We will be spending the first few weeks of class reviewing content from Mandarin II. Ideally, Flipped Mastery work will begin around mid-September.
The fall semester ideal schedule** is available here. There will be a hard copy available in my classroom. Note that this schedule is subject to change based on last minute schedule changes within the upper school.
** Flipped Mastery is designed for students to follow their own timeline and work at their own pace. The ideal schedule is available so that students have an idea of where they should be when so as to give them plenty of time to finish. Since it is unlikely that everyone will keep pace with this schedule, I have included "leeway days" during which students have a chance to catch up. Also, this schedule assumes that students will complete required material before finals. This, of course, is not required and there will be a final period available for students to complete any unfinished chapters.
